Lakeside Incinerator Chimney / March 2007

A prestigious project that was completed in the spring of 2006. Surface Techink were chosen to carry out the protective coating on the main chimney section and decorative rings. Today the chimney stands proud and can be seen from the M25 and M4 motorways west of London.
The treatment involved a three coat paint system. The primer was an epoxy zinc rich, an intermediate coat of epoxy M.I.O and the finish coat being epoxy acrylic with a final colour of Silver Ral 9006.
